External File Interfaces

The capabilities for interfacing with external files to import and export records is greatly expanded in Clooz 4.

Improved Record Linking

Clooz 4 takes advantage of special identifiers embedded in external files whenever possible to more reliably maintain links between people in Clooz to people in the external files. Clooz 4 now reads Ancestral Quest data files directly.

 

Importing From Other Clooz 4 Databases

In Clooz 4, you can now import individual records or the entire dataset from another Clooz 4 database.

 

 

Automatically Setup Review Tasks For Imported Sources

You can now have Clooz create research plans for sources A source record in Clooz should be viewed as the higher level components of a source citation. Citation details are pulled from the citing Information Record. being imported, and have the import automatically import all the sources that a person's data in the external file is citing.
